Aries tattoo ideas in fine line

What astrology says about Aries

Astrology calls Aries the first sign of the zodiac and gives it a starter's temperament: direct, brave, quick to act and quick to move on. The usual warning is impatience, and a habit of starting more than it finishes.

The designs

The ram is the classic Aries symbol, and its curled horns hold up well at small sizes because a spiral is a simple shape. All three designs below use the ram: a full head in profile, the horns alone around a small sun, and a ram on a ledge under the moon.

Before you take it to your artist

• An AI design is a starting point. Some tattoo artists say AI designs are often too detailed for the spot they are meant for, so expect your artist to simplify it.
• The free stencil is a clean line version that shows the line work. Your artist will still redraw it to fit your body.
• Check the size before you book: try the design on with a daylight photo of the spot.
